Five Days of Lull – Bored and Evil [ COMIC ]
As mentioned in the previous comic I’m running past guest strips that I have done for other webcomics everyday this week in lieu of new content due to limited time constraints. Plus, I think it’s a interesting look at some stuff most of you have never seen before.
Before I worked on Dueling Analogs and even before I worked on the outer circle I worked on Bored and Evil. For the first 200 comics of the strips run (June 7, 2004 – September 1, 2006) I handled the coloring, layout, web design and occasional script for the comic. I opted to exclude my name from the series as I never felt it was really my project. Though number wise, I think I actually put more time into Bored and Evil that Peekaboo Robert Koch who’s name actually does appear on it. Still, I had a lot of fun working with Peek on Bored and Evil. Unfortunately, I had to end my participation on the series because I just didn’t have enough time to juggle three (3) different webcomics on top of becoming a father.
The series is perpetually defunct right now, be Peek, Rich and I have been talking about reinventing the series in a new format. Unfortunately, it requires a little more upfront capital than starting a webcomic to get our venture going. But we’ll see…
