You’re a Lonely Man, Charlie Brown

Stupid blockhead! You still get your adult content in paper format AND you actually pay for it too?!

This is how I feel right now. Seems like everyone else is playing GTA V, but me right now. I will inevitably play it and hopefully sooner rather than later. I just need to justify a new game purchase that I cannot actually play when any of the kids are awake.

It was a lot easier when GTA IV was released. At that time, my oldest was only two and my youngest wasn’t even born yet. Now I have a seven year old and a four and a half year old. Can’t really play that sort of game around them without knowing they will see and hear something they shouldn’t. Good grief!

I genuinely feel your pain – there's no point in getting a game as huge as GTAV when I know I can only play for a couple of hours in the evening after the kids are in bed. But then I also feel guilty if I'm playing something suitable and they come to watch, like I'm stopping them from doing something more constructive. The perils of a gaming dad…

I’m not playing it yet because I’m waiting for the PC addition–hopefully to come out when they finally decide to release the google play version of iFruit.

Know that feeling. Got an 8 month old at home. Gravitating towards more “quick play” style games like Binding of Isaac or Rogue Legacy. Only get small windows a day or two per week. I’ll wait until it becomes super cheap and not feel as bad if I can’t play as often :-D

I have an 8 year old, and I can indeed confirm that GTA V can not be played in ANY capacity before he goes to bed.
Even just driving around you get people yelling the worst obscenities at you as you pass.
That said, the game IS awesome, and I hope you get the opportunity to play it soon.

Well, I'm not either, :P I never found appeal in that game series, though can say that about all the more "adult" themed games that have come out. Borderlands is technically the only M rated game I've bought this year, then going to be Wind Waker, Arkham Origins, and Link Between Worlds for my next three purchases. Animal Crossing before then.

Just wait till one of their friends buys it for them and then confiscate it.
