by Steve Napierski to Comics

Don’t ask because I honestly don’t know the answer, either.

The origin, though, was last Friday.  I was driving in the car and thinking of jokes for Dueling Analogs and this idea for a comic came to mind. I have no idea what it means. It was truly was a WTF moment. But it was a WTF moment that I just couldn’t get out of my head. I thought it would inevitably go away, but the idea of Pacman breaking into someone’s house to eat their wafers and reference books just would not leave my head. Its like having a song stuck in your head and you can’t get it out until you hear the entire thing. This was that.

On a completely unrelated note, the “You’re a Tardis” shirts are finally available at Also, the site is starting to run low on “Rejected Mega Man Villains” posters and have no idea when they may come back in stock after they sell out. Just FYI.

Why is Pac-Man in tighty whities?

  • The Anarchyz

My existence hurts a little now.

  • insanity202

Wow that was so random!! lol

  • Psytrese

I love it! Don’t see Pac-Man in webcomics as much as I should. He’s pretty much the grandaddy of all gaming characters. ^^

  • hobophobe

Why is he in his underwear?

  • Steve Napierski

@hobophobe @Ben I honestly do not know. Wish I had a better answer for you, but that’s just what I’d imagine he’s wearing. Also, why does he still have his gloves and hat on but not his shoes?

  • A.L.

Pacman’s balls are inert. [insert awesome face here]

  • gelugon2105

Who is the other – entity – in this strip?

  • Steve Napierski

@gelugon2105 Pooka from Dig Dug who has appeared in various other games with Pacman.
