Trailers can be so misleading. I want to be excited about Wreck it Ralph, but in the same regards I know it might possibly suck. As gamers, we’ve seen tons of trailers for games that did not live up to the hype. So let’s be cautionary about our expectations. With that said what they’ve shown so far does look like it will be fun.

Hang it, I’m going for it. It’s not a video game story, it’s a story about video games. It’s like a fanfic made in to a movie.
Except no Mary Sues.
Or unexplained tentacle monsters.
Or characters doing things they never do in canon.
Or… I think you get the gist by now.

I have to agree with you. How often do you get to see a TV show/movie based on a video game that doesn’t look like it will suck horribly?
