Charmandon’t

by Steve Napierski to Videos

Seeing as this video is about a Charmander plushie, it was done by d0mics, and retail I decided to share it a week after Black Friday. Seemed relevant.

I definitely did my fair share of retail over the years. I worked at Best Buy for a couple years and I was a store manager for FuncoLand… For you youngin’ that don’t remember FuncoLand, it was the precursor to what would inevitably become GameStop. The major difference being, that FuncoLand was fun. Regardless, I can vouch that once you’ve worked retail long enough you obtain a sixth sense for detecting theifery. Not really a skill that you can transfer to other professions, but it does make you a little more observant. So there’s something.

I used to be a FuncoLand member! I lost the card years ago but I still remember it! It shall never be forgotten!

Also I’ve noticed that the best thieves are usually people who worked retail long enough to develop said sixth sense to detect thieves.

Hilarious would have been if you’d hounded him for the rest of the convention at every table or booth he went to.
