When the Gamers are Away…

When the Gamers are Away…

It’s really amazing what people can create from their own personal computer nowadays.

I remember when I was in high school, a group of friends and myself created a “movie” together. One of my many tasks for this “movie” was to animate the opening credit sequences. I performed this task by using Disney Animation Studio, which ran on my 486DX2-66, and then point a camcorder at it to record it. That was what we considered high-tech, back then.

It took almost 12 hours to do that simple opening animation sequence. I updated all the visual effects for the “movie” back in 2005 using Adobe Flash. The updated opening sequence took me 15 minutes to animate.
