What You Didn’t Know about the Sega Genesis [ VIDEO ]
Personally, I’ve always preferred the Super Nintendo/Famicom over the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive.

There was one big thing that Nintendo had on the Super Nintendo that the Sega Genesis didn’t: Nintendo games. Their first-party titles for the Super Nintendo were some of their best: Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, Earthbound, Yoshi’s Island, etc… Plus, they had the Final Fantasy titles and Sega didn’t have either.
Sure, there were a lot of great games on the Sega Genesis. Wonder Boy in Monster World is one of my favorite 16-bit games EVAR, but overall the Super Nintendo catered more to my video game interests.
