Game Sack is pretty thorough with their videos. This one is no exception. I honestly knew about most of these changes before watching it, but it is nice to see them all conveniently displayed in one place.
I want to explain one thing that they didn’t cover in the video and that is the reason why a lot of the games are much easier in the Japanese version than the international versions. In Japan, renting video games is illegal and has been that was for thirty years now. As such, game developers don’t really have to worry about people finishing a game quickly, because the only legal way to play the game is to own it. This is also why video games in Japan retain their value so much, over other countries.
