Oh, Perilous World
I don’t know if it has been done before. In my own personally experience I’ve never seen it. Nonetheless, when I saw that Nick Borkowicz did a live action trailer for his webcomic Oh, Perilous World I definitely felt it was worth mentioning. It’s these kinds of interesting, nontraditional approaches to the the ever changing expectations that the world wide web demands from us that make me proud to be part of the webcomic community. The Expendables: The 8-bit Game

While trekking though the interweb this morning I learned about a very interesting piece of marketing material for the new, upcoming film The Expendables: an 8-bit style, side-scrolling, action game version of the movie. It’s basically a Contra clone starring the main characters of the movie. But fortunately for us, it’s actually a decent Contra clone. Playing the game will require you to have a Facebook account and to “Like” the movie as well. But trust me, if you like Contra it’s totally worth it.
