You’ve got heart, man… [ COMIC ]
You already know that the piece of heart is from The Legend of Zelda series, but what about the other items? Wirt’s Leg is from Diablo II and not to be confused with Wirt’s Other Leg from Warcraft III or Wirt’s Third Leg from World of Warcraft… ew. Speaking of World of Warcraft, that’s where the Eye of Sulfuras is from. The Rib of Vlad is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and the Skull of Yoruk (spelled correctly) is from Zork Grand Inquisitor.
Doing the artwork for this comic, just reminds me how much I loved the art direction for Wind Waker. Most people prefer the more realistic Link, but I feel that the Celda look was fun and fluid. Also, looking at this comic makes me even more anxious for when Phantom Hourglass finally gets released.
Funny side note… later on in the evening after this comic was done, I saw the trailer for the new Hannibal Lecter movie Hannibal Rising. Hows that for a coincidence?
