Man’s Best Friend [ COMIC ]
Ah, good old Duck Hunt. If you owned a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), odds are you owned it… as the Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt cartridge is the most unbelievably common game released for the NES. Odds are you also played the game and inevitably missed a few ducks only to have your “trusty” dog laugh at you… jerk.
Well, I was going through some of my sketches and found a picture I did of the dog laughing from Duck Hunt and I thought I could use that in a strip. I wanted to avoid the typical joke of shooting the dog, so I went in a different direction… if the dog’s going to laugh at its owner in one situation, he’s going to do that in other situations too. So I did.
