Majora’s Mask “Trailer”

Majora’s Mask “Trailer”

by Steve Napierski to Videos

I so want this to not be fake.

Unfortunately there was absolutely nothing about a Majora’s Mask remake the Nintendo E3 conference and the entire video takes place in one single area, which leads me to believe the creator just didn’t design any other locations. Still it would be awesome if Nintendo was just holding this back for the online Nintendo 3DS panel, but I’m not holding my breath.

The limited scope and the lack of official confirmation DOES make it seem fake, but on the other hand Nintendo`s presentation today was primarily about the Wii U. There`s still room for such an announcement in tomorrow`s 3DS presentation. That, and it really seems quite elaborately designed for a joke. I can hope.

Well they just did a remake of OoT not too long ago so I can see them doing Majora’s Mask.

But it doesn’t matter much to me as my N64 still works and so does my copy of MM, even if it has a big hole in the back of it when I cracked it down over my knee…seriously **** Honey&Darling’s minigames. Why can’t I just run the two through with my sword and cut the heart piece from their cold lifeless bodies? Hey I’d get 2 Heart Pieces that way!

Definitely fake, for two reasons. 1) We’re not that lucky and 2) even if they did do a remake, I doubt Nintendo would go for this level of CG for anything. There’s some insane detail there, to the level that the 3DS screen isn’t even capable of showing.

Are you trying to imply that Nintendo games can’t have good graphics, sir? *points at Smash Bros Brawl*

Heh. I like all the masks on there. Just imagine what sort of stuff you could do with a Shigeru Miyamoto mask.

I sooooo want this to be real. I would buy a Wii U just for that game. And all the Mario Parties in the world wouldn’t compete. Seriously Nintendo, get your s*** together.

They should remake(!!!) OoT and MM for WiiU, not port them over to whatever console they like and seem fit.

OoT on 3DS was a nice idea, but I want a big screen, not a stupid eye hurting 3D environment on a small screen.

Then again, remember the old OoT Tech demo for “Project Dolphin” (Gamecube)? It took Nintendo until Twilight Princess to offer such a fight. Or the tech demo of Zelda for the Wii U (TP Spider again?), won’t happen either.

We’ll have to wait and see. But you can’t please every fan – just Miyamoto’s pocket.

While I’d love for them to remake Majora’s Mask, I’m still waiting for the Banjo Threeie I was promised back in 2000…

the sad part is, this game would never be able to be created. it would never fit in the series, and it would feel out of place. BUT I WANT THIS GAME

First of, I’m assuming that you think that this is a sequel, which it’s not. It’s just a remake. Second, if you weren’t thinking that this was a sequel and haven’t played Majora’s Mask, then it’s available on the Wii’s Virtual console for $20.

meh… There are better Zelda games that didn’t make me hate life by playing them. I’d love to see the one for the super nintendo “A link to the past (i think >.> stupid sleepy brain)” remade with some kicked up graphics.
