First Honest Cable Company Commercial [ VIDEO ]

This video is actually very relevant to me as I cut the cord myself back in October. I’m actually planning on doing a post about it and explaining the monstrosity that put together in the process of doing so. This actually motivates me to do it a little sooner than later. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed this video.

Chattanooga, Tennessee has some of the fastest and cheapest internet in the US. It’s not from cable providers though, it’s from the electric company. I can download a 10 GB game in about 15 minutes while streaming a movie on Netflix, and it only costs less than $60 a month.

Some places have competition, like from Wide Open West, and in those areas Comcast tends to have slightly better service. But you have places like apartment complexes where they’re under contract, and there’s literally no option.

“why you aks? because f*ck you, thats why”…

Are your internet providers starting the same crap ours do (germany)? There are more and more new contracts where not only your speed is limited to 8k, 16k so on (even though you will never reach it in reality)… but they are even starting to put in the traffic limit that was mobile phone exclusive before.
So for some the up/download speed will drop drastically after 10GB a day…or sometimes after 100GB a month which makes it pretty much useless for anyone who buys and downloads games regulary…
And they are still using the old copper cables instead of newer highspeed cables, though everyone knows they are outdated…
