Firewall – Nintendo vs. Microsoft

Firewall – Nintendo vs. Microsoft

by Steve Napierski to Videos

Doctor Octoroc has created an interesting video pitting characters of the Nintendo Entertainment System era (and beyond) against Bill Gates an Xbox 360 Firewall. Quite a humorous and interesting commentary. Still, it needs a battle of Nintendo vs. Sony, as well. Seeing that the PS3 is pretty close to passing the Xbox 360 in worldwide sales.

Close as in the next 3 years? If the Xbox has 3.8 million more units sold worldwide, and the ps3 outsold in 2010 by 1.3 million units it’ll take at least 3 years to close that gap if things continue at this rate… (vgchartz data)

Haha I was wondering when the RRoD would show up. Pretty hilarious that he used it on himself (If I’m not mistaken)

Not bad, but nothing will ever beat SEGA Fantasy VI: Consoles Vs. PSP

OMG, I wasn’t expecting a RRoD! and despite having attacks from the classic series, the sprite was from Rockman X

Is RROD for that like what Electrode does for Brawl? Blows up and even NPCs panic?

No, it stands for the “Red Ring Of Death”. It’s a flaw in the design that causes Xbox 360s (the original models, not the slims) to screw up, and become unplayable. It’s called the RROD because of the fact that the lights around the power button turn red when this happens…

When I saw the initial shot of the video I honestly thought it was Bill Gates frozen in carbonite >__>
