Brutally Hilarious Comparison of Castlevania I and II
Egoraptor has created a video called Sequelitis: Castlevania 1 vs. Castlevania 2 (I really hope that Sequelitis becomes and ongoing series). In it he thoroughly delves into what is wrong and right, yes there was right about Castlevania II, between the first two games of the Castlevania series. It’s funny and very well thought out, as well.

This video is definitely NSFW because of language, but that’s what headphones are for.

Agreed, this guy needs to do more of these videos.

Honestly his constant screaming was annoying even later when you get use to it. But it’s nice to see someone having real deep and new opinions about a game contrairy to the main critics who can’t put out a review without having polished the damm thing so much it simply become bland.

    • I absolutely agree with you. It was refreshing to hear a review that goes against the grain, not to mention the fact that the review was so detailed. But the screaming was annoying. It’s like he’s looking for some hook for the ADD crowd. Screw them. The rest of us are actually interested in the content.

Great video, reminded me a lot of an angry Extra Credits over on the Escapist.

  • Personally, I’m put in mind of the Plinkett (Red Letter Media) reviews of the Star Wars prequels. Not just “this game SUCKS”, but “here’s WHY this game sucks and why the game that came first did NOT suck”.

    Except with less hooker abduction.

  • Egoraptor is awesome, and I hope this becomes a regular series.

Egoraptor is considered to be a god amongst men in the circuit. That being said, ALL of his movies have screaming in them, it’s one of his things. The “Awesome” series really put him on the map for hysterical amusement, though somewhat childish and redundant in the sense that he just points out crap we already know kinda like with this video. However I still find him hilarious
