<p><a href="http://civgoesbig.com/' title='Sid Meiers Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword Official Web Page" target="blank"><i>Sid Meier&#8217;s Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword</i></a> was released last Monday. And to celebrate this event, the arrival of the single biggest <i>Civilization</i> expansion <strong>EVER</strong>, 2K Games and Firaxis have partnered with several gaming webcomics (<a href="http://www.nuklearpower.com/' title='8-Bit Theater by Brian Clevinger" target="blank"><i>8-Bit Theater</i></a>, <a href="http://www.cad-comic.com/' title='Ctrl + Alt + Del by Tim Buckley" target="blank"><i>Ctrl-Alt-Del</i></a>, <a href="http://www.myextralife.com' title='Extra Life by Scott Johnson" target="blank"><i>ExtraLife</i></a>, <a href="http://www.gucomics.com' title='GU Comics by Woody Hearn" target="blank"><i>GU Comics</i></a>, <a href="http://www.pvponline.com' title='Player vs Player by Scott Kurtz" target="blank"><i>PvP</i></a> and <i>Dueling Analogs</i>) as well as with members of the creative team behind the <i>Over the Hedge</i> to create comics and animated shorts for <a href="http://www.civilization.com/daydreams/' title='Civilization Daydreams" target="blank">Civilization Daydreams</a>&#8230; that was the single longest run on sentence I ever wrote and this is just making it even longer. You&#8217;ll be able to find the various webcomics on their respective websites and at <a href="http://www.apolyton.net" target="blank">www.apolyton.net</a>, <a href="http://www.civfanatics.com" target="blank">www.civfanatics.com</a> and <a href="http://planetcivilization.gamespy.com" target="blank">planetcivilization.gamespy.com</a>.</p>
<p>My final contributions to the Civilization Daydreams will be on the <i>Dueling Analogs</i> today and on <a href="http://www.apolyton.net" target="blank">www.apolyton.net</a> Wednesday.</p>
<p>Oh, and just in case you were wondering&#8230; no I did not revert to my previous art style. As I was finishing my comics for 2K Games I was also in the process of changing art styles. Since I was hired under the previous art direction, I decided that I would keep it for the final product. Needless to say I had a lot of fun working with 2K Games and Firaxis and its something I hope to do again one day.</p>
<p>See! Didn&#8217;t that work just perfectly? Yeah, and its easy to post as well.</p>
