It’s actually been a few weeks since I have fired up any console to do more than play our Friday night family movie. But don’t cry for me Argentina, it’s not as if my life has been completely devoid of gaming. I finished Shantae: Risky’s Revenge for the iPhone last week and have been pounding through the achievements for Wizorb on Steam over the past month…I’m currently at 15 out of 20 and I have a global ranking in the game of #18. With that said, I only played Shantae: Risky’s Revenge for about four hours and my grand total for Wizorb stands at under eight. Which gives me an average of twenty-four minutes of gaming a day for the last calendar month. Not bad or is it.

Obviously things change and so does what and when we can do it. I think as early as four years ago I was able to squeeze in one to two hours of gaming a night on weekdays and anywhere from four to six hours of gaming on the weekends. That averages to be about 80 hours a month of gaming time or two hours and forty-five minutes of gaming a day.

Am I bitter? Not really. Do I miss it? Most definitely. But since spending time with and providing for my family is the main reasons for my overall lack of time to game, at least there’s a good reason why.

So the past month and change has been an extremely busy one for me. Besides my regular 9-to-5 I’ve also had a plethora of freelance work on my plate, as well. And in that time I felt that I had very little chance to game…Or at least I thought I did.

Remember how I’ve mentioned recently that I’ve been playing Final Fantasy IX. It’s only been a little bit here and there, but somehow I was able to accumulate almost 48 hours of play time on my save file for the game. That’s pretty much two full days in a one month time period. Clearly my concept of available time is a little skewed from my earlier assessments. Either that or I am just that good with time management…But more than likely, it’s the prior.

I’m actually thinking about gathering a full list of games that I own and will never play. Might be interesting to see it all actually written out in front of me.

I do not regularly search for t-shirts online, but for some reason most of the advertisements that appear on Dueling Analogs for me are for SnorgTees. Now some of you have never seen one of these advertisements before and that’s just fine. But for me they have become such a regular part of my Dueling Analogs experience that I felt like doing a comic about them.

Now let’s talk about those advertisements in question…
