Pro Gamer is a fun little game, especially when you consider it was made during a twenty-four hour jam session.

The premise is simple. You’re a gamer with a crappy chair and television. The better you game, the more money you make. The more money you make, the better stuff you can buy with the ultimate goal of buying a fresh cap.

The mini-games are simple, but effective little clones which include: Space Invaders, Dance Dance Revolution, Canabalt, Break Out, Frogger and Pole Position…sort of. If I honestly had a gripe with the game it would be that nothing happens after you purchase the fresh cap except you now have a fresh cap. But then again, isn’t that all gamers really want is just a fresh cap?

A few months back, I mentioned the JS GameBoy Color Emulator that allows you to play GameBoy games right in your browser window. Well now I’m mentioning the SNESbox which allows you to do the very same thing for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

Overall it’s a pretty decent emulator, especially considering that it runs directly in your browser window. But unfortunately there is one really annoying aspect of it: the audio can be downright atrocious at times. Good news is that the emulator comes equipped with a mute button. So…yay.

Now all we need is a browser based Diablo III or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the world’s productive work force can finally come to a screeching halt.

Grant Galitz has created a javascript based online GameBoy Color emulator. That’s right! Now you can play those classic GameBoy Color games right in your browser window.

Major plus is that Grant has already included a pretty decent selection of GameBoy Color titles, of which the original Shantae is one. And on top of that, he has also given you the ability to drop your very own .gb or .gbc directly onto the emulator to play them, as well. Needless to say, my productivity level will probably reach an all time low because of this.

So if you don’t mind your productivity level dropping either, I definitely recommend checking it out.
