Now, I not disputing that Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a great game… because it is. I just find it funny that these super heroes are capable of defeating the planet devouring Galactus, but a locked door can impede their progress.

Now, I could discuss this topic in lengthly detail, but I’d rather just direct your attention to this posting by Dom (bottom right column) of MegaTokyo. Why? Because that was the base inspiration for this comic in the first place. Did you see that his posting was made in November ’06? That is truly a measure of my expeditiousness.

Speaking of Marvel Ultimate Alliance Battles, you know what would make a really wicked fighter/arena/survial type game? The Ultimate Showdown by Lemon Demon. Take the Ultimate Muscle engine that AKI Corporation Sophia, Inc. created, add all the fighters mentioned in the song, add a few dozen more and you’ve got the greatest game EVER!

As a retro video game collector, I visit a lot of retro gaming web sites. One said site is NES World. Well, while I was perusing NES World I saw a posting/link to Retroware TV. Its pretty cool. Basically Retroware TV is reviews, interviews and discussions about the video games and video game companies of the 80s and 90s (they did a review about Street Fighter CE for the PC Engine… something I didn’t even know existed). They’re pretty new, but there’s still a lot of content to give you your retro gaming fix. Definitely check it out.
