I’ll be honest, when I first started watching this video I expected it to be boring. When I got to the end, I was pleasantly entertained minus one minor problem… What the hectic did that Dreamcast ever do to anyone?! If you really wanted to prove how powerful the keyblade was, you should have tried to take out a Nintendo 64. Those things could survive a nuclear explosion.

Seriously though, finding the parts and customizing the Gummi Ships in the original Kingdom Hearts was so much fun for me. If Square-Enix ever released Gummi Ships: The Game and it was like the version in the original Kingdom Hearts, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Just saying…

The first Kingdom Hearts was the SquareEnix/Disney’s PS2 answer to Zelda… it was an adventure/platformer. Kingdom Hearts II, on the other hand, is a narrative story with the occasional battle to break the monotony. I could nitpick all the specifics, but I will just mention one in particular… remember trying to find all 101 dalmatian puppies in the first game and how you had to keep going back to previous worlds after you gained new abilities to find them? Nothing like that in this game. The only places you go are those that the game wants you to go to, much in the same way as a your mom dragging you by the hand everywhere. And let’s be honest, that was never fun.

You have no idea how many times I hear “Donald! Thank you!” in the background after a character takes a single hit. But you also have to think, if that’s my only gripe with the game that’s a really good thing.

Never fully finished the game. I accomplished everything you were suppose to do, beside beating Sephiroth… that is one tough bastard.

Only have to wait until the 28th when the next Kingdom Hearts comes out. Can’t wait, but then again I guess I have to.
