Nintendo Entertainment System. They also gave you the ability to demo said release it in your web browser by clicking “Quest” in the upper right hand corner of the Google Maps page. Unfortunately, April Fools’ Day is now over and so is that link on Google Maps. Fortunately, there is still a link to access the “trial version” directly.

I really enjoyed it and I definitely wanted to share it with all of you. It’s simple and clever and I wish I would have thought of it first.

Today’s comic was created by Emily Miranda who is also know by the handle Scarlet Pirate online. She writes for Gamergrrlz.net when she’s not writing for her own personal blog. Thanks again, Emily. I really enjoyed this comic.

So, the discussion in the previous comic about what was the most anticipated game of the year has gotten pretty heated. I see a clear slant towards StarCraft II over Halo: Reach, but both sides are still making some strong valid claims for their choice. If you’ve got an opinion about it or just want to read some of the comments left, head on over and check it out.

Now if you will excuse me, my copy of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World for the PS3 is starting to call my name. Also, don’t forget (or here’s you’re first mention of it) that the 4 minute Scott Pilgrim animated short is running on Adult Swim tonight at midnight, as well. I’ve already got my TiVo set to record. But before that the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World game pitch after the bump.

So rather than reinvent the wheel to look like something different than what I was seeing I opted for the sprite version.

Fun little note about mixing Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior Dragon Quest sprites is that Dragon Quest sprites don’t have the same black outlines that accompany their fellow Square-Enix’s counterparts. So I decided to add the outlines to Erdrick Loto so that he was consistent with the rest of the sprites.

Last week was a very good week for Dueling Analogs. Thursday’s comic, Super Mario Bros.: How it Really Happened was the highest day on Dueling Analogs EVER. It always makes me feel good when I create a comic that I like, but don’t know how the masses will receive it. And then it’s received very well. Two previous examples of this are the 4chan/Twitter comic (previous highest day ever) and Mega Man 10 Easy Mode animation.

Speaking of animations, I working on another one for Dueling Analogs and hoping to run it on the site pretty soon. So until Thursday…
