I'd love to have a shirt that says, "Nice try, Diaper Guy." But I think I'm the only one.

And right behind xkcd, Cyanide and Happiness was the second most requested webcomic for a What if...? strip. I love Cyanide and Happiness. Granted the comic is not family friendly (unless you're talking about the Manson Family), but it is clever. And you never really know where they will go next either. Especially since four different guys create the comics and seem that their only intentions are to make each other laugh. Which really works for them. That's how the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were created after all.

Neither of the comics this week appeared at right at midnight EST. But both of them did come out on the days they were supposed to. It's progress. I'm getting better. Give me a little more time and it will all be in sync. Until Monday...

Where's Killer Instinct III? Seriously. Releasing this title on the Xbox 360 makes even more sense than Nintendo localizing Mother 3 for English speaking audiences. This could be a new IP for Microsoft that already has an established audience. Quartermann reported that it was rumored to be "in development" back in May. So here's hoping that rumor is true. Shame if it wasn't...

Also, I think I want to get My Aquarium for the Wii. Seeing the trailer for that "game" just made me happy.

Replace Wii with Steve and you have a conversation that has transpired countless times between me and my friends. Yes, it's childish and juvenile, but it's stupid fun. Just like having sex with a cheerleader.

It's Friday, the comic is a day late and I'm tired. Had to take care of a lot of extra stuff this week which in turn affected the comic's work load. Monday, Labor Day here in the states, the schedule will return to normal. Unless it doesn't and then I'm just a big fat liar!

Sorry for another console comic. With the Rejected Mega Man Villains finished, this is my stand by gimmick. At least until I start doing Rejected Mega Man X Villains! Seriously, we all knew they were coming.

7 Game Conventions to Attend Before You Die

I saw this article and wanted to mention it for a couple of reasons. Mainly because it's a cool article, but it also mentions one of my area's local gaming conventions Magfest on the list and that's pretty sweet. I had the chance to check out Magfest for the first time last year and had a blast. I'd go in a heartbeat this year, but my wife is expecting right around Christmas and I wouldn't think of being anywhere else when my new baby girl arrives. Enough sappy sentiment. Check out the article and definitely check out Magfest as well. Neither will disappoint.

Square-Enix is planning on re-releasing Final Fantasy VII on one, or more, of the new video game consoles. Unfortunately, they have yet to announce which console it will be released on, when it will be released, whether or not said console that it will finally be released on currently exists or not, or anything else about said plans. They've said nothing! But we all know they can't let this cash cow lay dormant forever. I'm just getting a head start on mentioning it before it happens.

With that said, I'd be willing to bet money that someone will post this comic or a link to this comic on their site/blog saying something to the effect of, "They're finally remaking Final Fantasy VII!" Seriously. Most people simply come to the website, look at the comic, possibly read the words in the comic, and then leave... Actually, according to the stats the average person "reads" five comics before leaving. And that's your random rant/trivia combo for the day. But, most people ignore the news posting below the comics. Those people are missing out on a lot of important details. Like the one that Square-Enix has yet to announce it is re-releasing Final Fantasy VII. See! That's an important piece of knowledge to have with this strip.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering the inspiration for this comic came from seeing The Clone Wars, this post and mixing the two licenses together in my head.

Oh, and just in case you are also wondering my opinion on The Clone Wars... Well, I think Joe Dunn does a pretty good job of summing it up my thoughts.

Cool Webcomic for Attractive People

I honestly haven't had the chance to play Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, yet. But the reviews for it have been positive, it's done by Telltale Games (whose doing an awesome job Sam and Max), and it has some of the funniest source material on the interweb to pull from. So odds are it's worth the Wii Points. Anyone who has played it is more than welcome to comment about the game in this forum thread.

Not much else to say. But I did want everyone to know that the last of the current orders from BigBoomBomb.com are shipping today. I'm going to intimately know someone at the post office today after processing the postage for the remaining orders. You really want to screw me up? Buy a whole bunch of stuff that I have to process this weekend. A suggestion might be The Outer Circle Book 1: Digging Up the Past which is currently %25 off the cover price. And if you buy it today (Friday August 22, 2008) I can guarantee it will be in the mail no later than tomorrow. I swear.

Actually, it's more like "One for the Week." I had another comic that I was working on for this week, but I've been working on my portfolio site so much that it got back-burnered. The plan is to get my portfolio site up on Monday along side a new Dueling Analogs comic.

In the interim, check out Dr. Horrible. Because it is awesome.
