Grand Theft Auto, Assassin’s Creed, and Uncharted, besides that none of the other top ten franchises on the PlayStation 3 appeal to me. Though, looking at this infographic it is funny to see that SEGA sold better on the PS3 than Square-Enix. I guess that just falls under personal perception versus reality.

That said, I will leave you guys to do what you do best and dissect this infographic where applicable.

I always knew the assholes who play COD were the same assholes who use twitter.

How is Nintendo in “others” in the publishers chart? I thought they are doing pretty well….

Also love how the creator of the infographic was so lazy that he actually put other infographics as sources, not bothering to look up the actual sources

    • Celes

If I remember correctly Nintendo neither develops nor publishes games on any Playstation platform. So my guess sit they aren’t actually included in “others”

I see this as the best things that Sony has going for it, Microsoft does too. While the Wii/U may not be as popular with Core gamers, I think it’s showing that it’s the best because it showcases what they can do themselves rather than rely on others.

Is it strange that I cannot stand the PS controller for playing shooters? It just feels wrong to use it for shooters.

It’s not strange at all. Analog sticks are not built for shooters. Stick to keyboard/mouse. Use a gamepad if you want for action, platforming, racing, and if you prefer one over a fight stick for fighting (I love the D-pad).
