Chris Gerringer has created some awesome Rejected Mario Outfits that deserve to be shared. Personally, I still think Nintendo could figure out a way to justify how each of them could legitimately be outfits, but then again that’s Nintendo for you.

Yarn Mario has a whip that can do minor damage and can grab onto things, allowing you to swing. Basically, anything that you can do with a plain whip in Castlevaina is an option.

Ballet Mario lets you do a spin jump/spin attack, as well as cross delicate surfaces without them breaking. You can also jump longer, but not as high.

Yarnio: yeah, whip.
Segwario: doesn’t slide off edges into bottomless pits.
Ballario: can dance on spikes ( ie: immunity to spiked traps and enemies)
Girrafeo: head wobbles back and forth, KO’s enemies when wobbling, even through non-nudgeable/inert blocks.
“Oatmario? Are you crazy?” (Summon: Pinkie Pie)
