Playstation Nostalgia

I never actually owned the original model of the Playstation until a few years ago (someone was getting rid of it and gave it to me). When that generation of consoles arrived, the first one I ever got was the Nintendo 64. It wasn’t until a few years after that that I finally bought a Playstation, but it was the PSone version with the cooler shade of gray (PSones are cool!). I still own that PSone and even the PS2 I bought after it, but sadly I play neither of them anymore. I simply use the emulator functionality of my Playstation 3 to play those titles. Still, I cannot bring myself to get rid of them. Not as if they are really worth anything anymore, but I guess I keep them for nostalgia and backup purposes.

How about using the emulator on a PC and actually making the games look better by using 3x texture size with AA ?

Dont feel so bad, I still have every console I ever owned, right down to the Atari 2600 as well as all the games. The mountain of boxes that are accumulating in my basement with old game systems and games are piling up after each generation…. Since I had multiple systems for each one.

Consoles are like Pokemon. Gotta Collect ‘Em All.

My inner Nintendo lover is screaming ‘Except those Sega Junkers’. That voice is being ignored.
