Hero-Glyphics: Hyrule

This would make a really good artistic design for a side-scrolling platfomer.

I swear there is an indie game using Egyptian hieroglyphs, for said game’s artistic direction, that is currently in development, but for the life of me I cannot find it. And just so you know, I’m not talking about Apotheon… or at least I don’t think that’s what I was thinking about. That’s 2D platformer with RPG elements set in the world of Greek mythology. You know what, I could be mistaken. Who knows?

If there is a game that uses Egyptian hieroglyphs and you can think of it, please mention it below. If you think it’s Apotheon that I’m thinking about, you are more than welcome to mention that, too.

In hieroglyphs, no thing is ever supposed to be in front of royalty’s face, so a ‘correct incorrect’ thing is that the string of the Bow should be ‘behind’ Zelda’s head, even though the way it would be held would make Dali and Escher do a double-take.
