The Avengers and their respective Pokémon. The artist definitely took some interesting choices. I especially like the Hulk/Bruce Banner comparison.

Very interesting…
I know about both and can see the thought behind the choices, but now i wonder if anybody who only knows one side of the deal could in comparison tell the intended characteristics from the other. Though, the images speak rather clearly for themselves i guess.
However, wonderfull art, thanks for pointing out.

Well, I can give it a shot at least. I know some of the heroes decently, and have heard of the rest, but I don’t KNOW them know them…
Stark:
Ninetails – his vanity?
Metagross – Psychic/Steel represents his genius and the Iron for Iron Man
Porygon Z – Almost a living computer, I think? Also represents his forte in tech
Lucario – Fighting/Steel, his heroism and again, Steel for Iron Man
Rotom – Not sure. Adaptable Electric/Ghost type.
Steve Rogers/Captain America:
Arcanine – Dogs are a man’s best friend
Braviary – Captain AMERICA. Need I say more?
Eevee – Represents hidden potential, like the kind unleashed in him.
Shieldon – His shield motif
Nick Fury:
Mewtwo, Volcarona, Absol – All mysterious pokemon, represents his scheming.
Pepper Potts:
Espeon – Psychic type, kinda pretty
Milotic – Beautiful Water type.
Conclusion: Beautiful and smart
Bruce Banner/Hulk – Togekiss, Lapras, Jigglypuff, Blissey, Clefairy, Meganium
The picture paints more of a picture of what he wants to be instead of HULK SMASH. Notice the abundance of Normal types, as he wants to be normal. Also several ‘healing’ motifs. Not sure where the Lapras comes in.
Maria Hill – Vespiquen, Nidoqueen
No clue who this is. A leader bug type and a strong ground/poison type. Hits hard and commands others?
Natalia Romanova/Black Widow – Crobat, Ariados, Weavile
Plays on her motif of poison and darkness.
Agent Phil Coulson – Gallade, Growlithe
K9 Unit and a psychic/fighting type. Name and picture suggest a military sciency type.
Clint Barton/Hawkeye – Noctowl, Pidgeot
Bids of prey. Duh.
Thor – Joltik, Shinx, Pichu, Mareep, Raikou, Blitzle
have ALL the Electric types!

With Lucario there is also the matter of him having a piece of Metal sticking out of his chest. Rotom I guess would be about their ability to interface with technology seeing as Rotom can control washing machines and other appliances and Stark has Jarvis.
With Eevee, it is a fairly weak pokemon that undergoes a massive transformation after applying a secret ingredient, (I realise that it doesn’t require evo stones anymore, but they have an effect). This also applies to Arcanine.
With the Hulk, Meganium is mean and green (and sort of fights using radiation I guess (photosynthesis/solarbeam)). As for Lapras, I guess it’s kind of a recluse and very intelligent.
However you choose to appreciate/interpret these, they are bloody impressively drawn.

Oh also Maria Hill is the second in charge of Shield in the film (sort of) and her pokemon are both Queens… that seems a little weak, but the picture feels right so…

All of the Pokemon in Banner’s pictures are CALM. All of them have access to a move that causes Sleep except Togekiss. Meganium’s signature move is Sweet Scent. All of them have either mothering or childlike demeanors. If there was ever a .group of Pokemon that has the message ‘peace and tranquility’, it’s this bunch.
For Nick Fury: Volcanrona and Mewtwo are both found in the games at level 70 at the deepest levels of dungeons encountered fairly early in the game but not fully explored until the end of the game, and have a definite big boss feel as a result. Absol is a seen as a ‘harbinger of disaster’, but in fact his purpose is to warn others of disaster and try and prevent it. A very Nick Fury Pokemon.
Agent Hill’s Pokemon are both women that are ‘large and in charge’.
Everything else has already been said, really.

One more thought, Captain America has Arcanine because it’s fiercely protective, while Agent Coulson has Growlithe because it’s fiercely loyal.
Also, Rotom is Motor spelled in reverse, signifying Stark’s Mechanical genius.
