The Sirens’ Song

Seeing as The Steam Autumn Sale 2013 is going on until today, I felt this was a very appropriate comic to share on Dueling Analogs. And if you’re worried that you’re going to spend too much money during this yearly event, I offer this simple word of advice: Buy a Mac! I own a Mac and I buy like every game they have available for it during the sale, that I don’t already own, and it only sets me back like $5. Not too shabby.

“And if you’re worried that you’re going to spend too much money during this yearly event, I offer this simple word of advice: Buy a Mac!”

Yeah, no. If you buy a Mac you’re going to spend even more money on the computer alone.

Added bonus is that you won’t have any more money to spend on the Steam Sale!

This is why I still have an average laptop for schoolwork. I get done what I need to get done without emptying my bank account (or nearly maxing my credit card) over games I likely won’t play as much.

But after I get a new laptop next week after surgery? No promises, but I will do my best to keep to consoles. It feels weird switching back and forth from console to computer, IMO.

There’s always DLC on the consoles. Just don’t enter your credit card information… EVAR!

And that’s where Nintendo eShop cards come in handy.

Heads up: Valve are developing a console, so you’ll be able to play PC games* in your living room soon.

*and spend all your monies in the Steam Store.

Dangit. *saves up until Steam console*
