Spending Money in Video Games vs. Real Life [ COMIC ]

In video games, I am a frugal hoarder. I spend a little currency as I can and only sell items, weapons and/or armor when I have more than 1 100.

Funny I’m the exact contrary. I’ll often spend my money to get myself upgraded as soon as I see better items.

If real life didn’t punish you for taking whatever is laying around and if money was hiding under every other random bush… that might change things.

I’m the other way around… I don’t spend money unless I know 100% that I won’t be needing it later… also I have savings in case I do end up needing money. Because loans/credit cards is for people who can’t manage their money properly.

Loans and Credit cards are great tools for those who know how to manage their money. Unfortunately the issuers of these things make their money by giving them to people who don’t know how to do that.

They charge 15-20% APR and the minimum payment barely covers the interest so the fools who only pay the minimum get milked for all they are worth. When ever possible pay off the entire debt at the end of the month and budget yourself with that payment in mind for when the bill comes.

I’m the exact opposite. Always poor in games and frugal af IRL (though poor nevertheless XD).

Stay the hell outta my head. Damnit, now I have to sweep for bugs and cameras again… *grumbles*

That attitude will get you killed fast in a Dragon Quest game. Also, like many others, it’s inverse of my usual tendencies: I get upgrades in games ASAP, and save back as much as possible in real life.
