Oliver Surpless I think the Spoony One articulated the “tail” thing best. Judgmental people see a tail on a Japanese character, they assume he’s a furry or likes furries. Too bad, as Zidane is quite a good character, and a refreshing change of pace from the ones in VII or VIII. mike Agreed. Zidane was a charismatic ladies man. (or at least he thought he was) JackVanElraton I still laugh at the conversation between the entire cast and Kefka before the final fight in FFVI: “Bah! You all sound like sappy pages from a self-help book!” If there was a cast with issues, they were it. Klas I’d preferred if you focused on the whole happy go lucky angel of death thing with Zidane. Still great comic though. mike Zidane is the best character out of the lot, only one who wasn’t a whiney lil sh!t. PrinceJonathan Now I’m left wondering what would Vaan say on that couch? Probably some babble trying to justify his existence. I feel Squall’s portrayal as a cutter to be way off. He wasn’t a depressing emo who cuts himself just to feel something. He was trying to avoid emotions, feelings and forming bonds so he wouldn’t be hurt later on. I think if the events of VIII never took place Squall would have probably grown into someone like Shadow from VI. But then again I’m no psychologist and most certainly know jackcrap of what I’m talking about…IGNORE ME!
