That is basically my relationship right now. I've been playing Mass Effect 3 almost non-stop since Tuesday morning. When my husband comes home, he just stays out of the way. Does his thing, plays games on his computer, eats dinner, goes to bed. Leaves me totally alone. That's love.

Father was a gamer and growing up I watched him play. We beat mario kart together (I in first place) when I was in 2nd grade or so in the highest speed. I would play peach, he bowser. I went from NES, SNES, Original Gameboy, Sega Genesis, N64, Dreamcast, Gamecube, PSOne, PS2, Xbox, 360, DS, and now computer gaming. I have over 200 steam games (97% of them were bought on sale though) and a small collection of physical 360/dreamcast/Gamecube/DS games. I'll pick up ME3 eventually now that it's finally out. I do own 1 and 2 on the 360 but I stopped early on in the first one so I would be able to know my effects from the first would cause in the third.

I also 'met' my boyfriend through Guild Wars. My guild is made up of people i know in real life that play it. He was invited by a cousin I knew. We fell in love smashing enemies together. Good times, good times. I do enjoy being a nerd, even if I am female.

Dude, I literally laughed out loud when I read that. Regardless, the analogy still stands. If you've ever seen kids with that show it's insane.
