Been there, done that.
Poor black cat has been grossly misinformed, and has wasted his money. :c
Except not. The Vita has plenty of good games. Gravity Rush, Persona 4, Assassin’s Creed Liberation, Dokuro, Ragnarok Odyssey, Virtue’s Last Reward, etc. My Vita has been well played since I got it and was money well spent.
Whilst I agree that Vita isn’t the best current handheld, I don’t see why it’s a waste of money. As ShadowScipio pointed out, there are plenty of good games, albeit not as many as the 3DS has. This, as a Nintendo fan and 3DS owner, makes me feel confident in my purchase, but at the same time there are more than enough good games on Vita to warrant a PS fan or any gamer for that matter to own one if they can afford it. No need to be so arrogantly deluded as to think it’s a ‘waste of money’.
Fun knows no technological bounds. You can throw all the fancy physics engines and pretty graphics in the world at me, but if your gameplay’s inferior to what I was playing 20+ years ago, I’ll still prefer the games I played 20+ years ago.
Couldn’t have said it better myself.
I remember that. I still HAVE my original gameboy. I loved the contrast wheel, so I could get through dungeons without wasting a slot on Flash.
I still remember my vita memories. Bought a vita, played AC3L and P4G, finished both, cried like hell, dumped the vita, took vita back from the trash after realizing there’s still Lumines and some other good games, forget about the whole thing, and here I am typing about it right now.
