Fatherhood Done Right [ COMIC ]

My oldest daughter owns Pokémon Sun. Does she ever talk to me about it anymore? Nope. But she does keep asking me which animatronic is my favorite from Five Nights at Freddy’s. I kid you not.

She doesn’t even play the game, but she loves drawing all of the characters. She even got a Foxy hoodie for Christmas, among other FNAF related merchandise.

Is it just me or does the middle panel make no sense?

    • Nonsensical on my end as well.

It’s about a father only knowing and loving the original and a kid trying to please his father for telling him something he could relate to. The father is proud of his kid for doing this for him.
It’s something about gesture and appreciation, not about your favorite pokes.

You misunderstand, sure I understand the comic as a whole, but what the kid says in the central panel is what makes no sense.

No matter how I try – I can’t do anything else, even though I want to
I only ever use – I make a conscious decision to not do anything else

You can’t try not to do a thing you’ve mad a conscious decision try and do.

As someone who has been playing Pokemon since it originally came to the states I really could care less about the whole gen wunner thing.
