Call it a case of typing the text right the first time or a case of laziness, I prefer the perfection angle, but I’m pasting the text from last Monday’s comic below as it works perfectly with this one as well.
Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword was released last Monday. And to celebrate this event, the arrival of the single biggest Civilization expansion EVER, 2K Games and Firaxis have partnered with several gaming webcomics (8-Bit Theater, Ctrl-Alt-Del, ExtraLife, GU Comics, PvP and Dueling Analogs) as well as with members of the creative team behind the Over the Hedge to create comics and animated shorts for Civilization Daydreams… that was the single longest run on sentence I ever wrote and this is just making it even longer. You’ll be able to find the various webcomics on their respective websites and at www.apolyton.net, www.civfanatics.com and planetcivilization.gamespy.com.
My final contributions to the Civilization Daydreams will be on the Dueling Analogs today and on www.apolyton.net Wednesday.
Oh, and just in case you were wondering… no I did not revert to my previous art style. As I was finishing my comics for 2K Games I was also in the process of changing art styles. Since I was hired under the previous art direction, I decided that I would keep it for the final product. Needless to say I had a lot of fun working with 2K Games and Firaxis and its something I hope to do again one day.
See! Didn’t that work just perfectly? Yeah, and its easy to post as well.
