Casual Gamer [ COMIC ]

Love it! The only thing missing from this comic is that the mustached man needs a monocle. Besides that it’s perfect.

I feel like I’m about to talk at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting for the first time, but I am really starting to think that I, myself, am becoming a casual gamer. Besides helping my youngest daughter with a part she got stuck on in Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves the Snow Princess for the Playstation 2, the only video games I have played in the past couple weeks have been Super Mario Bros. Crossover 3.0 and Candy Crush Saga. Granted Super Mario Bros. Crossover 3.0 would not be considered a casual game, I was really only playing it for a little bit to get some information for the post and to make sure that the flash content embedded correctly. I really need to remedy this conundrum soon.

Any gaming recommendations? JFYI I haven’t bought any of the new platforms yet. The message in Brental Floss’ video really did ring true to me.

I resonate most with the lady in the blue dress because I wanted a reason to have pockets in my bridesmaid dress at my sister’s wedding: to stash my 3DS and get enough Pokémiles for Rare Candies.

hrmm I would have gone with cargo shorts under the dress if possible.

  • Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Still my favorite game of all time. I will actually be breaking out the SNES to play Kirby Super Star for a bit, due to needing to write a report on one of the games contained within (probably the Great Cave Offensive).

I share the same feelings. I unfortunately no longer have my old SNES. Thank goodness there’s emulators.

Well if you can hold out another week or so, the Steam Christmas sale should be in full swing. Borderlands 2 has been my electronic crack for a while.

I am coming off my “no games during school” fast, so I need to figure out what to play for the next three weeks. Then it’s back to school and watching my wife play stuff while I do homework.
