Full of truth.
I heard the 3DS version of the game is better. Not great but better.
I think the game looks fine. I mean, they’re calling it “Sonic Boom,” not “Sonic The Hedgehog,” right? Different series, just happens to have alternate dimension versions of the characters or something.
Actually, as the comic states, it’s the gameplay that ruined Sonic Boom not the aesthetics or the reinterpretation of Sonic and his world. It’s riddled with a multitude of glitches. Some of them are game breaking and a lot of times you’ll run into them accidentally. It’s nowhere near as bad as Sonic 06 was as you can get through Sonic Boom at a normal pace, but it’s clear the game was rushed.
Which is mindboggling considering how long ago the game was first announced.
What people generally think happened with this game is that it started out multiplatform using the Cry 3 graphics engine, which the PS4 AND XBone can handle. However, then this game became part of that three game deal SEGA had with Nintendo. The Wii U doesn’t naturally handle the Cry 3 engine very well, so a lot of time and effort was wasted trying to cram it in there, to mixed results.
Basically, poor communication between SEGA and Big Red Button, as well as too much investment in the existing graphics engine, killed this thing.
To be fair the Wii U version is the bad one to be avoided. The 3ds version is an ok game. specialy sense there’s no combo attacks in it.
Am I the only one that likes the scarf/bandana?
“I don’t know what to do” STOP RUSHING THE GAME FOR CHRISTMAS
