Well, because that timeline DOES exist, he did fail at least once.
Also; I’d change the “you were raised by a tree” one (cuz he already knows that, so it’s kinda redundant) to “And yes, Saria and the other Kokori girls still count as illegal.”
Would the Kokori even know what a mother is? Who spawned them?? Wind Waker implies they’re plants/spirits, but…
