Jonathan Lavigne at a Glance

PIXELTAO Fantasy Breakout
Jonathan Lavigne is one of the artists on the upcoming DLC game: Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game. Not only is he a brilliant pixel artist, as evidenced by his personal blog, but he’s apparently also a pretty decent programmer as well.

You see, he’s been working on a pet project called Ninja Senki for a while now. And even though it hasn’t been released yet, the trailer for it still more than qualifies as a pleasant midweek distraction. Here’s hoping the game is released soon rather than later. But as Jonathan himself quoted Miyamoto as once saying: “A delayed game is eventually good; a bad game is bad forever.”

I’m super jealous of people with art AND programming skills. I’m only good at programming, I can easily build an entire game myself, but as for the graphics…. nobody will EVER see my garbage sprites.

Maybe I’ll save up a couple thousand from my welfare checks and hire this guy to draw my game!
